Infinity Boat Club's J16 boys' quad produced an outstanding performance at the 2025 National Schools' Regatta, securing a well-deserved bronze medal against the country's strongest junior crews.
The crew of Sam Murphy (bow), Harry Murphy, Daniel Gowler and Jacob Haxton demonstrated impressive speed and composure throughout the regatta, earning their place in the A Final before delivering an excellent race to finish on the podium.
The National Schools' Regatta is one of the most prestigious events in the junior rowing calendar, attracting the very best school and club crews from across Great Britain. To come away with a medal is a significant achievement and reflects the dedication, commitment and hard work the crew have shown throughout the season.
The boys have continued to develop with every race, and their performance at Holme Pierrepont was a reward for countless hours of training both on and off the water. Their bronze medal also highlights the continued strength of Infinity Boat Club's junior programme and the depth of talent within the club.
The success was made possible through the ongoing support of the coaching team, volunteers and parents, whose commitment throughout the season has been invaluable.
Congratulations to Sam, Harry, Daniel and Jacob on an outstanding National Schools' Regatta performance. Everyone at Infinity Boat Club is incredibly proud of what they have achieved and looks forward to following their continued progress.
